Welcome Back!

Thanks for your patience and understanding as I work on getting what's in my heart and mind into a weekly newsletter. It's a journey to translate the vision I have in my imagination into a digital format, and I appreciate you bearing with me while I figure it all out myself!

That being said, lets dive in!!!!

August 18-24, 2025 *according to the stars…

✨Monday August 18✨

🌩💡Mercury Leaves it's Storm: Time to Sort the Junk from the Genius

Mercury finally exits its post-retrograde shadow on Monday. Cue the cosmic sigh of relief. The fog lifts, the gears click, and forward motion resumes. If you’ve felt like your ideas were stuck in molasses lately you're not alone and this is the shift you've been waiting for!!

Now’s the time to revisit all those notes, voice memos, half-done Canva designs, and brainstorming lists you scribbled down during the retrograde period. Sort them into two piles:

  • 💡 “Genius idea—I always knew it was.”

  • 🗑️ “Maybe not such a great idea after all…”

This isn’t about judgment—it’s about discernment. Mercury sextile Mars gives you the fire to act, and the clarity to choose wisely. Pick a few gems from the genius pile and start building. Speak them. Move them. Ritualize them. The storm is over. Let your ideas fly.

1:33am EST✨ Mercury sextile Mars Depending on your location, this aspect exacts Sunday night or Monday morning. But didn’t Mercury just sextile Mars like 2 days ago? Yup, sure did! Cosmic déjà vu…. That’s because Mercury (who just stationed direct last week) is still moving super slowly, not having any momentum behind it yet, so its again hitting that sextile with Mars just days after the first hit. Think of it as a cosmic echo: a second chance to speak with clarity, act with courage, or revisit a moment that felt half-formed.

This energy can show up as:

- 🔥 A surge of motivation to finish what you started earlier in the week

- 🗣 A conversation that circles back—this time with sharper insight or emotional precision

- ✍️ A creative idea that returns, now ready to be shaped into action

Use it to:

-Do the things you thought up and wrote down

- hit send on the message you drafted but we're too hesitant to hit send on

- Move through stuck energy with movement, breath, or ritual

- Name what you want—with less apology and more conviction

✨Tuesday August 19✨

💪 Finding Strength in Vulnerability

1:29pm EST✨ Sun trine Chiron is like a moment of clarity when you can accept your imperfections and past struggles, not as flaws, but as essential sources of wisdom and strength that helped shape your unique talents. This transit highlights the connection between your core identity and your journey of healing. Instead of being defined by your past, you can now use your experiences to guide, teach, or support others. Don't shy away from being open—your vulnerability is a superpower.

Know Thyself

This goal of this exercise is to help you to recognize that your greatest strength often comes from your most vulnerable places. It's not about erasing the wound, but about integrating it into a powerful and purposeful part of who you are.

Parts in Convo: Sun & Chiron

Sit in a quiet, comfortable space where you won't be interrupted. Take a few deep breaths to center yourself and bring your awareness inward.

  • Meet the Chiron Part: Imagine a part of you that holds your deepest wound. What does this part look like? Is it a small child, an elder, or an abstract feeling? What is its core story? Don't try to "fix" it or change it; just acknowledge its presence with kindness. Write down a few words or a short paragraph describing this part.

  • Meet the Sun Part: Now, bring to mind a part of you that embodies your true self, your authentic light. This is the part that feels alive, joyful, and purposeful. What does this part look like? What does it want to express in the world? How does it shine? Describe this part in your journal.

  • Facilitate the Dialogue: Now, in your journal, write a conversation between these two parts. What does the Sun part have to say to the Chiron part? How does it see the wound? The Sun part can be a source of compassion and acceptance. What does the Chiron part need to express to the Sun part? Does it feel seen or heard? Allow the dialogue to flow naturally, as if you are simply listening and transcribing.

  • The Integration: The trine aspect suggests a natural collaboration. After the dialogue, reflect on the following questions:

    • How does the wisdom from your Chiron wound empower your Sun's purpose?

    • Where in your life have you already used a past hurt to help others?

    • How can you continue to intentionally use the strength and light of your Sun to bring healing to your Chiron part?

This prompt uses the Internal Family Systems (IFS) model, which views the psyche as a collection of "parts" with different roles and motivations. The goal is to connect with these parts without judgment, fostering a sense of inner harmony.

✨Wednesday August 20✨

🎢Emotional Rollercoaster

8:27am ✨Moon conjunct Venus is a beautiful energy for connection and creativity. You can use this harmonious window to set a positive tone for your day. This is the perfect time to savor your morning coffee, express gratitude, or have a meaningful chat with a loved one.

1:56pm ✨Moon square Chiron can bring old insecurities to the surface. Instead of pushing past the discomfort, pause and give yourself grace. Acknowledge what's coming up for you. This is an opportunity to practice self-compassion and gentle healing.

10:47pm ✨Moon opposite Pluto may unearth deep-seated emotions or power dynamics. You might feel a need for control or a desire to release something from your life. Rather than fighting this energy, lean into it. Trust your intuition and use this transformative moment to let go of what no longer serves you.

The key to these busy moon days is to expect them to feel like an emotional rollercoaster and be able to go with the flow of it. Don’t expect the day to stay emotionally steady and don’t be surprised or irritated when it isn’t. By noting the shifting energies without judgement or expectation (at the time they happen in the sky OR as they happen in your own body) you can honor the shifting tides and harness the energy for the purpose its best suited for.

✨Thursday August 21✨

✨ A Day of Courage & Clarity✨

11:44am Moon sextile Mars is the energy best for getting shit done. With this boost of motivation and initiative it’s an excellent time to tackle your to-do list, engage in a physical activity, or start a new project.

2:13pm Moon conjunct Mercury is a powerful blend of emotion and intellect- making it a good time for heartfelt conversations, journaling, or creative writing. Your intuition will be sharp, and you may find it easier to articulate your feelings and ideas. Since your mind and heart are working in sync, pay attention to any insights that arise; your mind and heart are working in sync.

✨Friday August 22✨

🎉 Happy Birthday Virgo!🎈

4:34pm Sun enters Virgo

Meet Virgo ☀️🌿

The feminine, mutable earth sign of the zodiac. Guardian of the 6th house. She’s got a reputation—Miss Perfect, a little controlling, maybe even overbearing. But let’s be honest: someone has to get things done right.

Virgo sees what needs improvement. She can’t help it. That sharp eye for detail? It’s not just critique—it’s care. Her standards are high, yes. But imagine how hard she is on herself.

Virgo expresses love through service. She tidies, she tends, she shows up with a spreadsheet and a snack. Ruled by Mercury, she’s detail-oriented, hands-on, and deeply embodied. Think surgeon. Think craftswoman. Think healer with a toolkit.

She’s attuned to the body, to health, to the rituals that keep us grounded. Her phrase?

“I analyze.”

Not to judge—but to understand, refine, and restore.

10:29pm Venus square Chiron

💔 What It Means Emotionally

- Venus rules love, beauty, connection, and self-worth.

- Chiron is the wounded healer—our deepest emotional scar and the medicine we learn to offer others.

- The square creates tension, friction, and a call to action. It’s not gentle—but it’s transformative.

This aspect often shows up as:

- Feeling unworthy of love, even when it’s offered

- Attracting relationships that mirror old wounds

- Struggling to express affection without fear of rejection

- A deep desire to heal others while neglecting your own heart

🌿 The Healing Invitation

Venus square Chiron isn’t here to punish—it’s here to reveal. It asks:

- “Where did you learn that love hurts?”

- “What part of you still believes you’re too much—or not enough?”

Healing comes through:

- Radical self-compassion: Treat your inner critic like a rescue dog, not a wise elder.

- Creative expression: Use art, movement, or ritual to metabolize the ache.

- Boundaried intimacy: Learn to love without losing yourself.

- Rewriting the story: You’re not broken. You’re still becoming. And there is someone out there who is now where you were 1 year ago. They could get a lot out of your story- advice…. hope….. etc…..

- Remember who you were one year ago: That person needed advice, hope, and a story to believe in. You've been on a journey since then, and now you have something to offer. Share your story—it might be the very thing someone needs to hear today.

✨Saturday August 23✨

New Moon in Virgo

2:07am 🌑 New Moon in Virgo at zero degrees and 23 minutes of Virgo.

This isn’t just any New Moon—it’s a seasonal Black Moon, the third New Moon in a season that holds four. Rare, invisible, and potent, it marks a deep energetic reset. And it’s also the first of two New Moons in Virgo, with the second arriving on September 21 as a solar eclipse. Double Virgo = double refinement, double devotion, double chance to plant seeds that matter.

Virgo is the archetype of sacred service, embodied wisdom, and ritualized care. This lunation invites intentions that are precise, practical, and soul-aligned—think:

✨ Reorganizing your creative process

✨ Beginning a health or somatic ritual

✨ Clarifying your boundaries and offerings

✨ Honoring imperfection as part of your sacred rhythm

I’ll be diving deeper into this rare Virgo portal soon—keep an eye on your inbox for the full mythic breakdown (wink wink). For now, let this Black Moon be your invitation to begin again—with clarity, care, and cosmic precision.

☀️ The Sun & the Misfit Angle: A Weekend of Identity Adjustments

There’s an often-overlooked aspect in astrology called the quincunx (or inconjunct)—a 150° angle that doesn’t quite harmonize, doesn’t quite clash. It’s the cosmic equivalent of a shrug and a side-eye. And in transit? It’s even more elusive. Most astrologers skip over it. Honestly, I usually do too.

But not this week!!! Because the Sun is making quincunxes to three heavyweights—Saturn, Neptune, and Pluto—all within days, spotlighting tension, adjustment, and identity recalibration. So let’s take a closer look at what the Sun is illuminating—and why this misfit angle might be exactly what we need to pay attention to

In transit, this 150° aspect (also called an inconjunct) signals a moment of subtle but persistent tension, where two planetary energies are misaligned in element and modality, forcing us to adjust, recalibrate, and often compartmentalize.

🌒 What Makes a Quincunx So Uncomfortable?

-its the aspect of no aspect. They havenothing in common- they have no relationship to each other at all. They don't Share elements, modalities, or polarity.

- No natural flow: Unlike trines or sextiles, quincunxes don’t harmonize. They’re not openly combative like squares either. Instead, they create a low-grade dissonance that nags until addressed.

- Adjustment required: You can’t merge or integrate the energies easily (like a conjunction or opposition) so you end up separating them—often unconsciously. Think: “I’m a nurturing mother here, a passionate lover there, but never both at once”.

☀️ Why Sun Quincunx Transits Matter

This cluster of sun quincunxs is putting our identity through a hall of funhouse mirrors. Each reflection is slightly off, demanding micro-adjustments to how we show up, lead, and express ourselves.

The Sun represents core identity, vitality, and conscious will. So when it’s quincunx another planet:

- We feel misaligned with that planet’s domain (e.g., emotions, desires, discipline).

- There’s no direct conflict, but a nagging sense that something’s off.

- It’s a call to recalibrate—not overhaul, but refine.

🔍 What’s Happening in the Sky

Saturday 7:05am Sun quincunx Saturn creates a subtle tension between your personal desires and your duties. Creativity meets constraint. You may feel the weight of responsibility dimming your inner fire. This is a day to make small but necessary adjustments. Don't fight the resistance; simply acknowledge it and find a new way forward.

Sunday 6:58am ✨ Sun quincunx Neptune brings a soft, compassionate, but slightly disorienting energy. Your ego (Sun) might feel out of sync with your ideals and spiritual side (Neptune). You might even have difficulty with your own identity, everything is so foggy and nebulous. Rather than making big decisions or trying to be productive, lean into activities that feed your soul—whether it's listening to music, spending time in nature, or helping someone in need. This is a subtle cosmic invitation to slow down and listen to your heart.

Sunday 4:06pm ✨ Sun quincunx Pluto brings power dynamics to the surface. You might question how much space you’re allowed to take up—and what it costs to claim it. Instead of fighting this, lean into it. This is a chance to empower yourself by letting go of something that has held you back, whether it's an outdated habit, a relationship, or a mindset. Trust the process and use this friction to transform yourself from the inside out.

🗺️Making it Through the Gauntlett

1. Identify and Adjust

When the Sun is in a quincunx, it's a call to make small, honest adjustments. Pay attention to what feels "off." It might be a small miscommunication, a subtle feeling of being out of sync, or a minor frustration. The first step is to simply acknowledge it without judgment. Once you've identified the source of the tension, be willing to change your approach slightly.

2. Don't Force It

This is not a weekend for bulldozing your way through a problem or making big demands. Quincunxes don't respond well to force. If something isn't working, step back and try another way. Your stubbornness will only be met with more resistance.

3. Seek the Middle Ground

The quincunx requires compromise and flexibility. If your desires (Sun) are clashing with your duties (Saturn), your illusions (Neptune), or your need for control (Pluto), don't try to get all of what you want. Be willing to give a little to get a little. Finding a third option or a new perspective is often the solution.

4. Be Gentle With Yourself

Quincunx energy can bring up insecurities and a sense of inadequacy. You might feel like you're not doing enough or that something is fundamentally wrong. Remember that this is a passing astrological phase. Practice self-compassion and understand that it's okay to feel out of place.

5. Take Action, But With Grace

While it's important not to force things, a quincunx is not a time for total passivity. Once you've made an adjustment, take a small, practical step forward. For example, if you feel a disconnect with a loved one, a gentle conversation or a simple act of kindness can go a long way.

A weekend full of quincunxes is an opportunity to practice patience, humility, and the art of the pivot. By accepting the need for adjustments, you'll find that what initially felt like a roadblock is actually a path to a more balanced and authentic way of being.

✨Sunday August 24✨

⚡ (Even More) Identity Disruption

3:15am ✨ Sun square Uranus is a cosmic disruption —a volatile, electric aspect that jolts us out of complacency and into radical authenticity. If you’ve felt restless, rebellious, or suddenly allergic to routine, you’re not alone. This is a clash of ego and upheaval, and it’s here to help shake loose anything that doesnt fit anymore.

Uranus doesn’t ask for permission. It demands liberation. And when it squares the Sun, our core identity gets a wake-up call. Expect the unexpected: creative breakthroughs, emotional whiplash, or a sudden urge to burn the rulebook and start fresh.

But this isn’t chaos for chaos’s sake. It’s sacred disruption. This aspect invites us to rebel not for rebellion’s sake, but to reclaim what’s true.

Help to Get Through:

- Somatic grounding: Try breathwork or movement that anchors your nervous system while honoring your need for freedom.

- Creative rebellion: Make something imperfect, raw, and real. Let it disrupt your own expectations.

This square isn’t gentle. But it is clarifying. Let it crack open the shell of who-you-should-be so the truth of who-you-are can shine through.

8:14am ✨ Moon sextile Jupiter may have you feeling more generous or compassionate toward others, or you might find that kindness and good luck come easily to you. Use this gentle, supportive energy to nurture yourself, connect with loved ones, and embrace a spirit of gratitude. It's a day to feel good from the inside out.

Meanwhile, on earth…

Moonflower Oracle

Moonflower as Oracle: A Brief Symbolic Overview

The moonflower (Ipomoea alba) is no ordinary bloom—it’s a living archetype. It waits for dusk, unfurling only when the world turns inward. In this act of nocturnal blooming, it mirrors the High Priestess of the tarot: guardian of thresholds, keeper of mystery, and embodiment of intuitive knowing.

Its Latin name carries mythic weight. Ipomoea—from Greek roots meaning “worm-like”—evokes serpentine movement, hidden paths, and the alchemical spiral of transformation. Alba, meaning “white,” speaks to the luminous purity of the bloom itself—radiant, but only in darkness. This whiteness is not sterile—it’s symbolic. It evokes the clarity of dreams, the emotional illumination that arises in shadow, and the sacred purity of intuitive insight. A color that doesn’t blind, but reveals.

The moonflower’s lunar allegiance deepens its connection to the feminine. It blooms under moonlight, not sunlight—aligning with cycles of intuition, emotional intelligence, and sacred receptivity. Like the High Priestess, it honors the wisdom of the body, the rhythm of tides, and the knowing that lives beneath language. It is not a flower of action, but of attunement.

The moonflower thrives in the liminal, the symbolic, the nonlinear. It's fragrance seduces rather than explains. Its bloom is brief, like a dream—ephemeral, rich with meaning, and easily lost unless ritualized.

To witness a moonflower bloom is to sit at the veil. To listen without forcing. To remember what the body already knows.

✌️That’s all for now, folks…
