The first half of this week has been suspiciously quiet, hasn’t it? Almost like the universe was holding its breath. Well, exhale now, because the second half is picking up in intensity. We’ve got a celestial pile-up that’s going to require some deep thinking, a little reflection, and maybe a sturdy pair of binoculars.
The Mid-Week Pivot: Mercury Hits the Brakes
Depending on where you are in the world, Mercury officially stations retrograde in Pisces on Wednesday or Thursday (Feb 25/26). I’ve already done a deep dive on this, but here are the SparkNotes in case you missed it:
Things are about to get dreamy in a way that feels like walking through a fog machine. While your mental GPS is recalculating, you’re going to hear two different voices in your head. One is your Intuition, and the other is just an Impulse.
Trust your Intuition (The Gut): This is that quiet, steady "knowing" that you’ve outgrown a situation. It’s not loud or angry; it’s just a deep sense of truth. Triple-check this—it's your North Star.
Question your Impulse (The Reactivity): This is the loud, frantic urge to send a "truth bomb" text or burn a bridge because you’re frustrated by the fog. Double-check this—and then don't hit send.
The rule for this week? Trust the knowing, but wait on the doing. Because we’re in a fog, even a "right" decision can be executed in a "wrong" or messy way. Give yourself 48 hours for the visibility to improve before you take action.
That’s important to keep in mind because…
Friday, Feb 27: The Electric Wild Card
Friday is the main event of the week’s tension. We are looking at a high-voltage combo of the Sun conjunct the North Node in Pisces and Mars square Uranus.
Mars Square Uranus This transit is the ultimate wild card. One of my favorite astrologers, Haley Comet, describes Uranus transits like wearing a sweater that doesn’t fit anymore. It’s itchy, it’s too tight, and it’s so uncomfortable that you feel like you can’t get it off fast enough.
With Mars (action) in Aquarius squaring Uranus (sudden disruption) in Taurus, that "itchy sweater" feeling is at an all-time high. You might feel a sudden, almost frantic urge to quit a job, end a restrictive habit, or radically change your life just to breathe.
The North Node Factor: Because the Sun meets the North Node at the same time, this restlessness isn't just random chaos. The North Node is our compass toward the future. That thing you can't stand the feeling of anymore? The universe is pointing you away from it because it’s blocking the path to your higher self.
What to Watch Out For:
The "Send" Button: Mars-Uranus + Mercury Retrograde = the highest risk for a "regrettable text." Wait 48 hours.
Physical Rushing: This energy is notoriously accident-prone. Slow down your body, even if your mind is racing.
Impulsive Bridges: Don't burn a bridge just because it’s "itchy" unless you have a clear view of the "North Node" path you’re walking toward.
Saturday AM: Soft Conversations
By Saturday, the vibe shifts from electric to introspective as the newly retrograde Mercury meets Venus in Pisces. This is a lovely, nostalgic moment—perfect for healing conversations or revisiting old creative projects.
Saturday PM: The Planetary Parade
And for our viewing pleasure, right after sunset, we are treated to a Planetary Parade in the night sky. Mercury, Venus, Saturn, Jupiter, Uranus, and Neptune are all lining up.
Full transparency: our wimpy little human eyes can’t see them all. You’ll need some badass binoculars for Uranus and a legit telescope for Neptune. Regardless, they are there, and their collective gravity is shifting the energy.
What does it actually mean? I’ve had some difficulty forming a solid opinion on the significance of these parades, but it’s finally taking form. To me, a planetary parade is about the illumination of a path. Since the planets form what looks like a bridge or alignment in the sky, it symbolizes coming into alignment with a higher version of ourselves or a life passion. Each parade is specific to the planets involved:
Mercury & Venus: Re-aligning our communication with our hearts.
Saturn & Jupiter: Balancing our responsibilities with our need for expansion.
Uranus & Neptune: Merging our drive for progress with our spiritual transcendence.
It’s like the universe is laying out a yellow brick road in the sky, asking us if we’re ready to walk it.
Integration: How to Work With This Energy
Journal Prompts for the "Itchy Sweater" Moment:
What area of my life currently feels like a "sweater that doesn't fit"? Where am I feeling the most physical or mental itch to break free?
If I removed this "uncomfortable thing" today, what would I finally have the space to move toward?
Is there an urgent feeling or "random" impulse I’ve been having lately? How might this be the North Node pointing me toward my future?
Journal Prompts for the Planetary Parade:
If the Planetary Parade is a map to your highest potential, are your daily habits and the way you speak to yourself actually headed in that direction? How can you start weaving more of that 'higher version' of you into the reality of your everyday life right now?
What does "being in alignment" actually look like for me in my relationships and my career right now?
