So, today’s full moon kind of a big deal!
Just like every Full Moon, the sun and the moon are sitting directly across from each other, facing off. But for this lunation the cosmos is aligned in a way that takes everything up a notch… or 10.
Instead of just the sun opposite the moon- today Jupiter is conjunct the Sun in Leo. This is known as a Jupiter Cazimin aka Jupiter “at the heart of the Sun”. Jupiter, the greater benefic, the planet of opportunity and luck, is being infused with all the power of the Sun. A beautiful and powerful moment.
Directly across the sky in aquarius the moon isn’t alone either. This moon is (loosely) conjunct Pluto- the planet of transformation, of truth seeking, and of power itself.
So this looks like Team Sun/Jupiter in Leo vs Team Moon/Pluto in Aquarius. And it’s a showdown.
Normally I would get into what all of this means in detail but honestly, there is so much going on here that I think it just dilutes the message. All you need to know about the Jupiter Cazimi and the Pluto-Moon conjunction is that it is amplifying everything. Like, a whole lot!
So lets meet the major players:
Leo is the sign of the self. A fixed yang fire sign ruled by the Sun itself. Associated with creative expression (including children), the inner child, confidence, and generosity.
Aquarius is focused on humanity and the collective. A fixed yang air sign traditionally ruled by Saturn, modern ruler is Uranus. Known for being progressive, future focused, intellectual, eccentric, original, and detached.
