September 28- October 4, 2026

Hey guys! I know this isn't usually my format, but there is so much going on this week astrologically I wanted to do something a little different and just drop a straight-up, no-fluff rundown of the week ahead.

We’ve got some major cosmic shifts moving in—from total lightning-bolt plot twists to some deep, psychological underworld energy—so I wanted to break down every single daily transit and ingress for you. More importantly, I’m giving you the game plan on what to expect, how to work with it, and what landmines to side-step.

So without further ado, let’s get into the astrology for September 28 through October 4, 2026...

Monday, September 28- Sun trine Uranus (12:22 PM)

  • The Vibe: Lightning-in-a-bottle energy. You are suddenly craving freedom, weird ideas, and a total break from your mundane routine. Expect random flashes of genius, weird synchronicities, and zero patience for feeling boxed in.

  • How to play it: Lean hard into the plot twist. Say yes to the impromptu plan, experiment with a wild creative idea, or dive down an internet rabbit hole on something totally eccentric.

Tuesday, September 29- Mercury opposite Chiron (11:15 PM)

  • The Vibe: Old imposter syndrome, foot-in-mouth moments, or tender emotional triggers flare up through your thoughts and conversations. You might feel like whatever you say just lands wrong, or a specific insecurity gets poked right where it hurts.

  • How to play it: Drop the armor. If someone triggers you or you feel raw, don't spiral into over-explaining or harsh self-critique. Pause, breathe, and recognize that vulnerability is way more powerful than trying to fake perfection right now.

Wednesday, September 30- Mercury enters Scorpio (7:44 AM)

  • The Vibe: Small talk is officially canceled. As Mercury dips into deep, probing Scorpio, your brain shifts out of surface-level gear and goes straight for the psychological undercurrents. You’re spotting hidden motives, craving depth, and noticing everything.

  • How to play it: Use this razor-sharp focus for heavy-duty research, shadow work, or untangling a complex problem. Just watch out for slipping into full-blown suspicion or interrogation mode with people.

Thursday, October 1

  • No exact major transits today—just a breather to let the Scorpio mental shift sink in.

Friday, October 2

Mercury square Mars (5:14 AM) & Mercury square Pluto (4:43 PM)

  • The Vibe: Your brain is a live wire and a pressure cooker all at once. Mars and Pluto squaring Mercury creates sharp, reactive, and downright aggressive mental friction. It's easy to snap, jump to paranoid conclusions, or get sucked into an intense mental loop.

  • How to play it: Do not fire off that spicy email or text. Channel all that raw, combustible mental energy into physical movement, heavy-duty cleaning, or an intense creative project. Vent to a journal, not a group chat.

Mars trine Neptune (6:18 PM)

  • The Vibe: The cosmic exhale. Just as things threaten to boil over, a gorgeous Mars-Neptune trine rolls in to soften the edges. Compassion, subtle rhythm, and magnetic, sultry charm take over.

  • How to play it: Let go of the need to control or win an argument. Pour your energy into art, music, physical flow states, or standing up for someone who needs an ally. Kindness is your secret weapon today.

Saturday, October 3

Venus Stations Retrograde (3:16 AM)

  • The Vibe: Venus stations retrograde, kicking off weeks of reflection around love, self-worth, creative projects, and your relationship with money. Exes, old financial habits, or past aesthetic regrets might pop back up for a second look.

  • How to play it: Do not make any radical, impulsive overhauls to your appearance, wardrobe, or relationships right now. Instead, use this retrograde to re-evaluate what genuinely brings you joy versus what you've just been performing for other people.

Mars opposite Pluto (6:39 AM)

  • The Vibe: High-stakes, raw power struggle energy. Ego clashes, deep-seated frustrations, and heavy-duty intensity peak. You want what you want now, but roadblocks feel massive.

  • How to play it: Pick your battles with extreme care—some hills are genuinely not worth dying on. If you feel cornered, step back before you let your primal fight-or-flight response run the show.

Sunday, October 4- Sun opposite Saturn (8:29 AM)

  • The Vibe: A heavy, reality-check finish to the week. The Sun-Saturn opposition brings a wave of heavy fatigue, self-doubt, or friction with authority figures, making it feel like everything is moving in slow motion.

  • How to play it: Give yourself permission to slow down and isolate if you need to recharge your batteries. Don't force yourself to push through burnout. Put your head down, tackle one solo task patiently, and let the cosmic dust settle.

A Stargazing Bonus 🪐

Now you know what a Sun opposite Saturn alignment means astrologically but it also holds astronomical importance.

October 4 marks Saturn at Opposition. In plain English, this is the exact moment Earth’s orbit carries us directly between the Sun and Saturn. And what that means is that it’s at its peak position for viewing.

  • Why it's the best view of the year: Because we're parked right between it and the Sun, Saturn is at its closest point to Earth for the entire year. It shines at peak brightness (magnitude 0.3), making it stand out crisp and clear against the background stars.

  • Is viewing only good on October 4th? Nope! While opposition peaks on that exact date, celestial mechanics move slowly. Saturn stays big, bright, and brilliantly positioned for easy viewing all through the weeks before and after, remaining a prime target in the evening sky through the rest of the year.

  • How to catch a glimpse: Saturn rises in the east right around sunset, climbs highest in the sky around local midnight, and hangs out visible all night long until morning. Just look for a steady, golden-hued point of light that doesn't twinkle like a normal star.

  • What to expect: To the naked eye, it just looks like a bright, golden star. But if you pull out a small backyard telescope (or even steady a decent pair of high-magnification binoculars against a porch post), you can actually resolve its iconic ring system tilting toward us.

Side Note on the Side Note: If you head out to catch Saturn over the next week or so, keep your eyes peeled. The Draconids meteor shower peaks on the night of October 8–9, meaning while you're scanning the dark autumn skies for the Ringed Planet, you might just catch a few bonus shooting stars too!!
